Alcadis benoemd tot Value Added Distributeur van het Druid Software Raemis-portfolio
Alcadis is vandaag benoemd tot Value Added Distributeur van het Druid Software Evolved Packet Core-portfolio, genaamd Raemis. Eerder dit jaar is Alcadis distributeur geworden van het CommScope ONECELL-portfolio waar onder andere Private LTE netwerken mee gebouwd kunnen worden. De toevoeging van de Druid Raemis EPC is een belangrijk component om het Private LTE netwerk compleet te maken. Hiermee kan onder andere het ONECELL netwerk worden voorzien van settings, SIM beheer, authenticatie, monitoring en integratie met andere spraak voorzieningen.
“De toegenomen vraag naar capaciteit en dekking zet geoptimaliseerde IT-afdelingen onder druk. Met ONECELL krijgen zakelijke klanten toegang tot hun eigen, toegewijde, hoogwaardige Private LTE netwerk om aan de kritische eisen van hun bedrijf te voldoen”, zegt Marc Nulens, manager van serviceproviders voor de Benelux bij CommScope. “Naarmate IoT-implementaties toenemen, worden gebouwen van binnenuit snel slimmer. Door hun eigen Private LTE netwerken te beheren, behouden bedrijven het eigendom van lucratieve gegevens die kunnen worden gebruikt voor analyse- en machine learning-doeleinden.”
Het “provisionen” van de ONECELL door middel van Druid Raemis is het resultaat van een nauwe samenwerking tussen CommScope en Druid zodat een kosteneffectieve end-to-end Private LTE oplossing kan worden geboden. “We are really happy to work with Alcadis and CommScope.” zegt Ken Hatton, Channel Manager bij Druid. “They are exceptionally competent when it comes to networking and security, the partners are in good hands if they want to explore the world of Private LTE.”

Ons partnerkanaal weet dat, in sommige gevallen, een Wi-Fi netwerk niet geschikt is voor het beoogde gebruik. Die partners zien een uitbreiding van hun (W)LAN kennis en portfolio met Small Cell LTE technologie, als een logische volgende stap voor die specifieke toepassingsgebieden.” In Nederland wordt met name band 3 (DECT Guard) gebruikt om Private GSM of Private LTE netwerken uit te rollen.

Alcadis has today been named a Value Added Distributor of the Druid Software Evolved Packet Core portfolio, named Raemis. Earlier this year, Alcadis became a distributor of the CommScope ONECELL portfolio, which can be used to build Private LTE networks, among other things. The addition of the Druid Raemis EPC is an important component to complete the Private LTE network. With this, the ONECELL network can be provided with settings, SIM management, authentication, monitoring and integration with other speech facilities.
