Hospitals

There are many challenges to the smooth management of communications on large estates like Hospitals, extensive Industrial sites or large enterprises with multiple buildings in one or many locations.

Coverage & Capacity

RaemisTM delivers consistent and reliable mobile coverage with voice, SMS and data services to enterprises covering large real estate areas. RaemisTM can prioritise different members of staff and also protect the private mobile network for the staffs exclusive use, enabling users to leverage all the benefits of a macro cellular network, while also ensuring that in the event that the public network fails or is compromised, RaemisTM will continue to operate as a private network providing uninterrupted on-site mobile communications.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

A key feature of RaemisTM is the possibility to deliver a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solution to enterprise customers when they are on-campus. With RaemisTM a user’s mobile device can be configured to register with the PBX as a SIP endpoint. This feature does not require an additional application on the device. The standard dialer application is used for placing voice calls. This can reduce enterprise costs as management do not have to issue mobile contracts to staffs as their own device can now integrate with RaemisTM and the enterprise private GSM network.

Paging & Nurse Call Integration
Man down

Raemis™ can also provide an immediate alarm facility in potentially dangerous environments with a “Man down” signal sending an alarm to the critical users  within the enterprise that can dispatch help to the individual in distress at the device location.

Care Homes

In environments where patients are catered for on a full-time bases, or are assisted to live in communities where they have more independence, RaemisTM is displacing incumbent technologies like DECT and VoWifi for key reasons such as:

Space

  • Availability of low cost mobile handsets and smartphones which are easy for staff to use
  • Greater range and coverage of the cellular access points, removing coverage black spots and reducing maintenance and total cost of ownership
  • Better hand over between access points, reducing call drops and making radio coverage planning much easier
  • Easy integration to the latest Nursecall systems allowing nurses to receive and respond to patient calls while moving freely, further increasing staff efficiency
  • Using the native features of mobile handsets removes the requirement for staff training and enables immediate use of the mobile solution
Hotels & Hospitality

Where Druid have deployed RaemisTM in Hotel environments we have greatly reduced the TCO (total cost of ownership) by lowering the cost of handset churn and minimising maintenance with the need for much fewer access points.

We also remove coverage black spots in critical areas where popular features like (man down) or (lone worker) alarms are needed for staff working in plant rooms, remote basements or roofs.

We also integrate RaemisTM with the Enterprise PBX making the low cost mobile handsets SIP extensions. By integrating door alarms with our solution staff are sent alerts to their mobile handsets so that they can respond where ever they are in the building. Our open API allows easy integration of various hospitality business & work flow processes creating greater Enterprise efficiencies.

Emergency Response

Druid’s private LTE core has proven essential to Emergency Responders. We provide the blue light vertical with instant dedicated LTE coverage (1Km bubble approx) around the command vehicle or in a mobile pelicase.

Body worn cameras registered on the Druid LTE network delivers live video footage from the front lines of an incident back to the commanders. Druid low latency LTE solution is essential in this environment to provide real time footage to the commanders. Other devices that can be registered on the instant LTE network include, thermal cameras, telemetry & vital sign devices, 4G LTE handsets etc,.

The new pelicase form factor enables the instant LTE network to be deployed in any vehicle or indeed anywhere at a major incident giving the response teams more flexibility of where they have coverage.

A key benefit of these deployments is the fact that all standard 4G cellular devices can be used with the application. There is also a host of environmental hardened devices for use in extreme climatic & industrial domains.

Defence & Maritime & Aero

There are numerous examples of Raemis being deployed in defence applications; because of its “instant cellular coverage” attributes it is an ideal solution for deployment in base camps, field logistical or as a tactical mobile cell.

Druid has developed a version of 3G/LTE Raemis executable on light weight hardware for deployment on tactical UAVs and other environments where light-weight is critical.

Off shore applications include deployment on Merchant ships, Cruise Ships and Oil Rig platforms. Raemis provides Mobile services for both operational and personal communication for maritime workers.

A key benefit of these deployments is the fact that all standard cellular devices can be used with the application. There is also a host of environmental hardened devices for use in extreme climatic & industrial domains.

MVNO Enablement

RaemisTM Autonomous Components enable MVNO’s  to expand their addressed market or introduce value added vertical applications. By deploying RaemisTM components MVNO’s have the opportunity to reduce MNO inter-op charges, target specific vertical segments or expand operations to include MVNE functionality.

In Europe where there is spectrum available for private cellular networks Raemis can provide the possibility to MVNOs to add Private Mobile Network Operation to its activity.

Mining

Isolated areas of the world have little or no method of regular communication and for economic and geographical reasons are not well covered by traditional macro cellular network operators.

Coverage & Capacity

RaemisTM delivers consistent and reliable mobile coverage with voice, SMS and data services to enterprises in these remote locations, like oil rigs or mining communities for example, enabling subscribers to leverage all the benefits of a macro cellular network.

Man down

RaemisTM can also provide an immediate alarm facility in potentially dangerous environments with a “Man down” signal sending an SMS to the critical users within the enterprise that can dispatch help to the individual in distress at the device location.

Push to Talk (PTT)

A key feature of RaemisTM is the possibility to deliver Push to Talk (PTT), also known as Press to Transmit. This permits mobile works to use their phones as a walkie-talkie with unlimited range. A useful feature of PTT is the ability for a single user to reach an active talk group with a single button press as opposed to needing to make several telephone calls to contact the same group.
